Meet Outback Ray
I’ve been a reptile enthusiast, and all around nature lover since my earliest memories. My mom often tells stories of me as a young boy bringing home all sorts of wildlife. She called me fearless as I’d constantly search for snakes, lizards, turtles and frogs. I was always on an adventure letting curiosity be my guide. I spent the majority of my childhood in the creeks where I grew up searching for reptiles, fishing and experiencing nature at its best. As my passion grew so did my desire to share my knowledge and experience with others. At 16, I did my very first “animal show”, and here I am, over 40 years later still doing what I love!
Meet Outback Sky
From the moment I was born, animals have been a constant presence in my life, each one captivating me and igniting a deep curiosity to understand them more. I eagerly accompanied my dad, Outback Ray, to as many shows as I could, always begging for the chance to present an animal and be part of the performance. If you had asked me back then what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would have proudly said, “an Outback.” Now, as I’ve grown older, I’m grateful to step into the spotlight that both my father and my younger self envisioned for me.
The Mission
“Reptiles, and many of Gods creatures are misunderstood. Our mission is to teach children of all ages how incredible they really are and the importance they play in the world. There is much awe and wonder to be had when experiencing animals up close. Which is why we’re so excited to bring to you the joy and excitement of Outback Rays Amazing Animal Show!” ~ Ray
